About Caitlin:

Caitlin is a dedicated Paraplanner at facilit8, whose background in law and love for mathematics bring a sharp, analytical edge to our team. Her journey into financial services is driven by a long-standing intrigue with the industry and a natural talent for problem-solving.

Work and Education Journey:

Caitlin began her professional career in the legal sector, gaining broad experience across Divorce, Immigration, Criminal, and Conveyancing law. She spent several years specializing in Conveyancing, working alongside some of the UK’s leading housebuilders. In 2022, fueled by a lifelong interest in Mathematics, having tackled the Further Mathematics exam at just 16, she decided to take the plunge into Financial Services. Since starting her Paraplanning journey in 2023, Caitlin has been on a fast track to excellence. By early 2024, she had already passed three of the six exams required for her Diploma in Financial Planning, with the remaining three firmly in her sights.

Beyond the Office:

When she isn’t immersed in financial planning, Caitlin enjoys a balance of social time and quiet relaxation. She spends time with friends and family or relaxes with a good book. On weekends, she enjoys walks along the seafront with her partner, Jake, and their cockapoo, Barney. Caitlin is also a devoted Formula 1 fan. On Sundays, she often watches races and was thrilled to witness Lewis Hamilton’s comeback win at Silverstone in 2024.

Fun Fact:

Caitlin is a talented musician. She is a Grade 6 qualified pianist and has been playing the piano since she was eight years old.
