About Jonathan:
Jonathan is a driving force within our facilit8 team, serving as the Managing Director and Co-Founder. With a remarkable journey in financial services, a passion for psychology, and a love for family and sports, he brings a unique blend of expertise and leadership to our organization.
Work and Education Journey:
Jonathan's journey in the financial services industry commenced at the young age of 18 when he began his career as a teller in a bank. His determination and good fortune led him to secure a spot on a trainee financial adviser program with the Cooperative Financial Services, marking the beginning of his learning journey. Over the years, Jonathan achieved significant milestones, including his Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice in 2012. He later reached Chartered status through the London Institute of Banking and Finance by completing the Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice. In 2021, he achieved Certified Financial Planner status by obtaining the Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
Jonathan's entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate his financial planning practice, 2Beyond Financial Planning and Advice. In 2016, he co-founded CJP, initially a support services business for financial planners, which has now evolved into facilit8 Business Support. The mission is clear: To empower financial advisers to free their time, do what they love doing, scale without staff, and achieve the ideal work-life balance.
Throughout his career, Jonathan has nurtured a keen interest in psychology and has become a Master Practitioner and Master Coach in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming).
Beyond the Office:
Jonathan's family plays a central role in his life. He is a dedicated father of four and a loving husband. Quality time with his family involves travel and enthusiastically supporting their sporting and extra-curricular activities. Although retired from rugby, he remains deeply involved in sports by coaching rugby league and serving as a Level 2 referee in rugby union. When time permits, he enjoys a round of golf and maintains a commitment to fitness, working with a personal trainer to achieve his health and fitness goals.
His wife, Lisa, has embarked on her own educational journey, pursuing a degree to become a midwife.

Favorite Quotes:
Jonathan draws inspiration from two impactful quotes:
- "You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!" — Rocky Balboa. This quote reflects his resilience and determination in the face of life's challenges.
- "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others." — Ms. Marianne Williamson. These words resonate with his belief in the potential for positive impact and personal growth.
Jonathan's exceptional journey in financial services, his dedication to empowering others in the industry, his passion for psychology and sports, and his love for family and the arts make him a visionary and invaluable leader within the facilit8 team.
